Esperanza is a Transnational Cooperation Act (TCA) beetween 4 Development Partnerships (DPs), that are involved in 4 different Equal projetcs: Innov@rural (Spain); Wikom (Germany); Dynamism and Experience (Poland); PRISMA (Italy).
The common interests are to experiment an European system to support the SMEs adaptability, especially focused on micro enterprises and employees (which are at high risks of exclution from the labour market due to aging, sex, low qualification) through:
1) more possibilities for cooperation and information by interactive services (within the regions, between the regions, at EU-level);
2) import and export of innovative ideas to solve problems (know-how transfer); 3) common development of innovative problems solutions (joint development); 4) training;
5) new flexible kinds of employment;
6) adaptability to new entrepreneural environment and new technologies and methods.
The 4 DPs have identified the following common problems underlying their projects:
- regional deficits in technology in SMEs, especially implementing ICT as a core business in strategy planning;
- regional deficits in information about technology and market developments;
- regional deficits between qualification needs of SMEs and existing qualifications of employees;
- regional deficits in cooperation and communication between all the actors of the labour market;
- regional deficit of know-how and experience in implementing flexible ways of employment;
- lack of equality in gender aspects;
- different attitudes towards life long learning;
- demographic changes.
